✦ Miami, Florida

Spanish-language content for Miami brands — from $1,200 a month

Miami’s Hispanic market doesn’t respond to a subtitle. It responds to a script written in its own language, with its own humor and references. We write and shoot both versions from scratch, and sometimes they deliberately say different things.

Translating is not writing

English copy translated into Spanish sounds like English copy translated into Spanish, and the reader catches it in the first line. The joke lands flat, the rhythm is off, the reference doesn’t exist. We write both versions separately, same goal, different words.

One shoot, two scripts

No need to shoot twice. The same setup records both voice-over takes and both sets of on-screen text, edited separately. It costs one day instead of two, and it avoids the classic mistake of posting the same subtitled piece on both accounts.

The Spanish of here, not of there

Miami Spanish has its own accent, and it isn’t Mexico’s or Spain’s. Our team sits between Miami and Medellín, so the script sounds like someone who lives where your customer lives, not like neutral dubbing.

✦ Questions

Do you post the same thing on both accounts?

No. One brand, two calendars. What works on the English account doesn’t always work on the Spanish one, and the other way around.

Who writes the scripts?

We do, in both languages, with your sign-off before the shoot.

Does it work for Meta ads?

Yes, and that’s where it shows most: language targeting performs better when the piece was written in that language.
